CDS Exam Date 2024

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts examinations for CDS two times in a year. These are called CDS 1 and CDS 2. All Eligible candidates can apply online after announcing the CDS exam notification 2024. CDS 2024 Exam Important Dates

UPSC CDS 1 Exam Date 2024

The commission has not announced the CDS 1 2024 official notification for applying online for CDS yet. but according to the calendar of UPSC, the commission will upload an online notification for accepting online applications for CDS 1 exam on 20 December 2023. After this, all eligible candidates can apply online. The last date to apply for CDS 1 examination is 9 January 2024. After this, you will get time up to the second week of January 2024 to pay the CDS online payment for the CDS examination.

UPSC will conduct Combined Defence Services Examination (I) 2024 in 21 April 2024. eligible candidates will be able to download their UPSC CDS 1 admit card 2024 in 4th week of March 2024. however, they will be also notified through SMS and email from the department to download their UPSC CDS 1 Hall Ticket 2024. All the qualified candidates will be called for the SSB examination for CDS in May and June month 2024.

UPSC CDS Eligibility Criteria 2024

• The minimum age of the candidate should be 19 years and the maximum age of the candidate should be 25 years old. However, the age criteria are different according to the defence service
• The marital status of the candidate should be unmarried.
• The educational qualification of the candidate should be graduation. However, if you want to get admission to Indian Air Force Academy then you have to complete your graduation in Engineering or in physics and mathematics.
• Candidate should also complete the physical eligibility criteria to complete the physical examination.

Apply for CDS 1 2024 Exam: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has not started the online application for CDS, however whenever the commission start online application through the official website

• First of all, visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission. UPSC you can also click this link to visit directly https://upsc.gov.in/ 
• Now you can see a pop up link in your screen to apply online for UPSC CDS 2024. you have to click on the link
• If you are applying online in UPSC for first time when you have to register yourself in one time registration.
• After completing your Registration on the website you can click on the apply link through entering your user id and password.
•  enter your personal details and educational qualification in the online application form and upload your passport size photograph and signature
•  now you can review your CDS 2024 Application Form if there is any deficiency then you can correct them
• After that click on the submit button, so you will be redirected to a new page where you will pay the online amount. You have to pay Rs 200/- For the online application. however if you belong other than the Unreserved and OBC category then you did not need to pay any amount to fill out an online application. Women from every category also get an exemption from fees in this examination.
