The Council of NDMC is strongly demanding to increase in the salary of their contractual employees. However, officers and other authorities have discussed about to increase the salary scale of their contractual employees in the latest meeting of NDMC. After this, they will also arrange their proposal in a bill and will soon make a law related to their employees. However, currently, employees are getting their salary on a daily basis. Contractual employees are also not getting other announces including dearness allowance, arrears, etc. Apart from this, regular employees are getting all the benefits of the 7th pay commission including basic salary, allowances, medical facilities, leave facilities, etc. So it is highly possible that contractual employees of NDMC with also get good news soon from their departments to get the salary according to the 7th pay commission. 

Service up to 60 years

There is also discrimination against contractual employees in NDMC and other government departments, as their job is not secured. The department can kick them out anytime after completing their needs. But now NDMC is strongly standing with their contractual employees. According to the recent meeting of NDMC, they have also discussed fixing their service years up to the age of 60.
