NEET UG 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to conduct the NEET-UG examination on May 5, 2024, all over India. The NEET UG 2024 exam will be organized in the pen-and-paper mode and the examination will take place in the second shift from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM. As we all know the NEET-UG examination is a national-level medical entrance examination in India, facilitating admissions to different undergraduate courses such as MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Veterinary, and many more. The NEET UG 2024 Exam will be held in 11 different languages, including Hindi, obliging an immense number of medical aspirants, with more than 20 lakhs showing up for the test a year ago.
As per the reports, the NEET UG 2024 Exam is to be held on May 5 2024 and the NEET UG 2024 application registration procedure will be starts in the month of March 2024. All the candidates will have to go through the official website which is neet.nta.nic.in. The NEET 2024 registration form will be available only on the NTA’s official website, after the announcement of the official notification. As we know in the year 2023, NEET granted admission to so many medical seats across various disciplines.
NEET UG 2024: Application Form, Exam Date
More than 20 lakh applicants are supposed to register for NEET UG 2024 test. To complete the NEET application form 2024, all the candidates will have to register themselves. After that, they will have to fill out the NEET 2024 application form carefully by filling in the personal details, then select the question paper medium that may be Hindi/English and the city of the exam. The candidates are required to provide the complete details of academic records, and upload the scanned image and scanned copy of necessary documents. The candidate should keep in mind that to complete the NEET 2024 application process, it is compulsory to pay the application fee as per the candidate’s category.

However, NTA has not released the specific date and time for NEET Registration 2024. The whole application procedure for NEET (UG) 2024 will be online mode, including uploading scanned pictures/documents, fee payment, and printing of the application successfully confirmation page, Hall Ticket, etc. Consequently, candidates are not expected to send/present any documents even the confirmation page to NTA via Post. All the candidates will have to be updated with the official website for the latest information related to the NEET 2024.

NEET-UG 2024 Application form
Candidates will have to stay updated and regularly visits the official website for fresh updates such as the NEET-UG 2024 Notification, NEET application form release, application correction window, hall ticket availability, NEET 2024 examination date, and NEET result. NEET test will be held in pen and paper mode for admission to MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, AYUSH, and Veterinary courses. The test will be held for applicants satisfying the NEET qualification models 2024. In the earlier year 2023, NEET worked with admissions to a total of 100,388 MBBS seats, a total of 27,868 BDS seats, a total of 52,720 AYUSH seats, a total of 487 BSc nursing seats, and a total of 603 BVSc seats, enveloping a total of 1899 AIIMS MBBS seats and a total of 249 JIPMER MBBS seats. NEET (UG) 2024 test will be completed in pen and paper/OMR mode.
Documents Used for NEET Application Form 2024
All the candidates who are interested in appearing in the NEET exam 2024, are required to bring their necessary documents while filling out the NEET UG 2024.
- Candidate must have a valid Identity Proof (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, etc.).
- Candidate must have a valid Mobile Number and a valid email ID.
- Candidate must have their High school’s details and Class 12th documents such as marksheets, certificate,s etc.
- Candidate must have birth certificate which includes Father and Mother’s name correctly.
- Candidate should have Class 12th board examination Roll number which issued by the Board.
- Candidate should have a valid passport number, ration card number, and self bank account details.
- Candidate should have their recently clicked scanned photo, scanned signature, left or right hand thumb impression, and scanned copy of all necessary documents.
- Candidate should have Class 10th pass certificate which is issued by board and postcard size photograph details.
Online Application Procedure for NEET-UG 2024
Step 1: First of all, the candidate will have to go through the NTA’s official website which is https://neet.nta.nic.in/.
Step 2: After this, the candidate needs to hit the “Registration” tab and then fill in the complete details as asked in the registration form such as the name of the candidate, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number.
Step 3: Now, the candidate will have to “Login” by using the received login details.
Step 4: After this, the candidate will have to fill out the “NEET-UG 2024” application form by entering the personal details, and qualification details, and then select the exam center.
Step 5: After that, the candidates are required to upload scanned copies of necessary documents, passport-sized photos, and signatures (as asked in the form).
Step 6: In the last step, the candidate will have to pay the application fee according to their category via online payment methods. Candidate should keep the fee transaction receipt as proof for future use.
Step 7: After that, the application’s successful confirmation message will appear on the screen. Candidates are required to take a copy of it and keep it for future use.
Documents Required for the NEET UG 2024 Examination Day
- The candidates are required to carry the necessary documents to the examination center on exam day.
- The candidate must have a hard copy of the NEET admit card.
- The candidate must have a recently clicked passport-size photo as uploaded in the NEET online application form.
- The candidate must have valid ID proof such as an Aadhar card, PAN card, etc., and if applicable candidate should have a PwD certificate.
