5 crore Salary Purse
The Authority has decided 5 crore rupees of salary purse for each franchise who will participate in this Kabaddi Players auction 2023. All teams will prepare a bid for each player according to their categories. The team who announces a higher bid for a particular player, will get the player in their Kabaddi team 2023.
Division of players into categories
The pro Kabaddi League is choosing a complex method to select players for teams. Players are divided into various horizontal and vertical categories. Firstly domestic and Overseas player will be categorised into 4 categories as A, B, C and D. Apart from this, players will also be divided into further categories including all rounder players, Defender, and Raider players. Franchises have also divided players into other three categories including Elite retained players -ERP, Retained young players- RYP and existing new young players- ENYP. The base price of the players will be provided according to the category of the prayer.
- Category A: INR 30 Lakh
- Category B: INR 20 Lakh
- Category C: INR 13 Lakh
- Category D: INR 9 Lakh
