Eligibility Criteria of the SBI PO Exam
Nationality of the candidate: as per the official notification of SBI the nationality of the candidate should be Indian. But there are some exemptions also. If there is any citizen of Nepal, Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 and has an intention to resident here permanently. Then he is eligible to appear in the exam.
Another exemption: if there is Indian Indian-origin person who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia and some other countries (check the official notification for more details) and came to India to live permanently, then he is eligible to appear in the examination.
Age Limit to Appear in The Exam

The Board Conducts the Exam in Three Phases.
First phase: the first phase is a prelims exam containing 100 objective questions. A candidate gets only 60 minutes to solve the exam and get at least passing marks. The subjects of the first phase prelims exam are English maths and logical reasoning.
The second phase of the exam: in the second phase, the board conducts a mains exam. The main exam has objectives as well as some descriptive questions. The total mark of this phase is 250 marks. Candidates who appear in the first and second phases are eligible to sit in the last third phase of the exam.
The third phase of the exam: the third phase is a group discussion round and an interview round. All the candidates have to sit in a group to discuss any topic and later on, they have to face a personal interview with the board
