According to the media reports, the National Testing Agency will announce official notification for registration for NET December 2023 at the end of September month. Eligibility criteria for UGC NET December 2023
If you are going to apply for the UGC NET examination 2023, then you have to complete your post graduation with more than 55% marks. However, if you belong to any reserved category then you have to achieve more than 50% marks in your post-graduation course. It is suggested to select the subject of UGC NET exam 2023 for the December Session according to the subjects of your post-graduation course. There is no age bar for candidates who will apply for UGC NET for assistant professor. However, if you are applying for the UGC NET examination for JRF then your age should be less than 30 years old at the time of applying online. Students belonging to reserve categories will get relaxation according to the government rules.
UGC NET Exam Pattern for December session 2023
There will be an online examination on the computer through CBT mode for various subjects of the NET exam 2023. There will be two papers which are known as Paper 1 and Paper 2 where you will be asked 50 questions from Paper 1 and 100 questions in Paper 2. You will get 2 marks for every correct answer in this examination however there is no negative marking. Paper one will cover questions related to teaching ability and reasoning ability and paper two will cover the specific subject that you have chosen at the time of online application. You have to complete both papers in a single sit you will get a total of three hours to complete the overall examination.
